  1. To set up a Manual Recording, from TiVo Central or HOME, go to:


    Devices on TiVo Experience 3 (software version: 20.x. or earlier)

    • Search, OnePass & Manage > Set Up a Manual Recording (for TiVo BOLT, Roamio, Premiere on HD menu, and TiVo Mini)

    • Find Shows > Record by Time or Channel (for TiVo Premiere on SD Menu)

    • Find Programs > Record by Time or Channel (for Series 3 & earlier devices)


    Devices on TiVo Experience 4 (software version: 21.x or later)

    • MENU > MANAGE > Manual Recording (for TiVo EDGE, BOLT, Roamio, and TiVo Mini)

    • Choose How Often by using the Up/Down Arrows to highlight "Once" or "Repeat." Then press the Right Arrow.
    • Choose the day(s) for the recording, using the Up/Down Arrows to change the current selection. If you chose Repeating, you can choose to repeat the recording on a specified day of the week or several times a week. Then press the Right Arrow.
    • Choose a channel using the Up/Down Arrows or by entering a number with the remote. Then press the Right Arrow.
    • Set the hour, minute, and AM/PM for the start and stop time, using the Up/Down Arrows to change the current selection. Press the Right Arrow to move to the next step, or Left Arrow to move back.
    • Schedule the recording by pressing Select. A confirmation screen appears:
       
      • If you want to schedule a single recording, highlight Record this showing and press Select.

      • If you want to schedule a repeating recording, highlight Create repeating recording, press Select and follow the onscreen prompts.
