For TiVo EDGE and TiVo BOLT devices, just press the Remote Finder button on the back of the TiVo EDGE or TiVo BOLT. Your remote will play the TiVo tune to help you locate it. When you find the remote, press any button to cancel or deactivate the sound, or just wait 15 seconds for it to turn off automatically.

For Roamio Plus and TiVo Roamio Pro, just touch the amber image of the remote control in front of the DVR to activate the TiVo tune on the remote. When you find the remote, press any button to cancel or deactivate the sound, or just wait 15 seconds for it to turn off automatically.

The 4-tuner Roamio does not have a remote finder. Also, your Roamio remote must be in RF mode to use the Remote Finder feature.
