High Dynamic Range (HDR) delivers a wider range of brightness and color compared to the Standard Dynamic Range (SDR) format. The image will look sharper, increase its color saturation, and allows for a larger range of looks that is closer to what the eye naturally sees. The movies and TV shows you watch will look more realistic and much closer to what you actually see in real life.
The following requirements must be met for you to experience HDR at home:
To enable HDR, from HOME go to:
MENU > SETTINGS> AUDIO & VIDEO SETTINGS > HDR (High Dynamic Range)
The HDR Auto (recommended) setting adjusts HDR content into a compatible HDR format for play on a TV, which may otherwise not support the original HDR content.
